Proud i7 Supercomputer owner.
Complete and in the case finally. Pretty, ain't it?
Balanced but maybe not fair. I haven't started over-clocking yet, but I don't think it will improve the score although maybe that graphics card has some additional tricks available then a little OCing might get me to 7.5?
The New Egg Wish llst. This is pretty much the list of what I got. I got the Blu-ray burner from VideoGuys.com and also some additional cables and fans from Monoprice.com. (both good sources.)
Rear view. Air filter slide partially out from bottom. Air is drawn from bottom to top past the easy to remove and clean filter.
Two gray round plugs near top are for optional water cooling pipes. The two black plugs at top left and right are the door releases. Dual DVI monitor connectors and a sync for stereo glasses. Needed the 3D to help me make my own Avatar.
Under the covers. The SSD is behind the small cover on front bottom. The device over the Blu-ray burner is a fan controller/temperature monitor-alarm and card reader.
View under motherboard. Cable management is great. The panel marked open lets you access underside of motherboard to get to CPU cooler backplates.
12 gB ddr3, water cooled i7 cpu, Nvidia GFX 285 graphics. What more could I ask for?
That's a dual layer Blue-ray writer. Not seen on everybody's computer just yet.
i7 chip before the cooler is attached.
The 12x Blue-ray burner prior to removing the case's protective covering.
